The luxurious JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina is turning the heat up and fanning the embers of love with the ultimate romantic dinner recipe — take one part stunning ocean and sunset views, add island-inspired cuisine from Executive Chef Scott Higa, blend with its world-renowned Hawaiian hospitality and voila! “Ihilani Lanai Dining” is served.
“Our ‘Ihilani Lanai Dining’ experience takes advantage of the resort’s pristine beach location, amazing views and first-class culinary offerings,” said Dan Banchiu, general manager of AAA Four Diamond award-winning JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa. “What makes this even more unique is the private setting, either on your own lanai (balcony) or in a secluded area on the Lagoon Lawn.”
Guests who reserve the “Ihilani Lanai Dining” experience can choose to have the meal delivered to their guestroom or set up at the oceanfront Lagoon Lawn. The Lagoon Lawn option includes a personal server to attend to their needs (it can be added to a guestroom service for an additional fee). Guests can select from one of two menus, both of which are available with select wine pairings for an additional $20 per person (plus tax and gratuity):
Three-Course Menu* / $75 per person for lanai dining or $160 per person for Lagoon Lawn:
-Chef’s Trio of Appetizers including Hawaiian ahi tartare, blue crab cake and duck foie gras
-Duo of Soup and Salad including lobster bisque and Caesar salad
-Trio of entrées including grilled Wagyu beef, Hawaiian snapper and crusted grain mustard roasted lamb chop
-Trio of Chef’s selection of dessert
Five-Course Menu* / $175 per person for lanai dining or $225 per person for Lagoon Lawn:
-Appetizer selections with a choice of sautéed gulf shrimp, grilled eggplant or ahi three ways (fresh sashimi, spicy ahi tuna tartare and seared ahi slices with hot seasoned oil)
-Soup and salad selections
-Entrée selections with a choice of sautéed Hawaiian snapper, grilled petite filet of beef and rock lobster tail, organic chicken or rack of lamb
-Dessert selections with a choice of Hawaiian ginger crème brulee, Maui Gold pineapple tart tatin, marsalla zabaglione and fresh berries or banana chocolate mousse cake
